I would like to know where you got the software to write the charts.

This is nothing terribly special. My computer came with a font called MusicNotes, which is what it says! I pasted all the notes into a picture file in Paint Shop Pro and added a few that were missing. I then write out the chart on some staff paper to make sure I've got it right, then cut and paste the charts in Paint Shop Pro.

I have a program called MusicTime, made by Passport. It lets you write out whole songs on a musical staff in a point-and-click fashion. It will also play these songs, and convert MIDI files to sheet music, or vice versa. I used to use MusicTime to make excercises for my drum students, and print them out.
